Where are the Monitor Definition Files stored in RISC OS 6?
  They now reside in !Boot.Resources.!VideoRes.Monitors

Why won't my SCSI CD ROM drive work with RISC OS Six?
The CDFSSoftSCSI2 module was not included in the RISC OS 6.06 ROM for a number of reasons. A copy from an older version of RISC OS may be softloaded in the RISC OS Six Boot sequence by placing it in !Boot.Choices.Users.Single.Boot.Tasks (If you are using the Multi-User features of Select then "Single" should be replaced with your chosen user name.

I can't get the computer to start in Viewfinder Mode
Check that the following configuration options are set:-
* Displaynumber 1
* Mode 32
* Monitortype 4
* Sync 0
* Wimpmode 32
If you have done a Delete Power on with an LCD monitor
connected then it is probable that it will have got the wrong settings detected due to the DDC (Plug and Play) features being wrongly interpreted on a Risc PC or A7000.
DisplayNumber 1 sets the display output to Viewfinder. You should not then see any output from the VIDC connector during Bootup. Monitortype 4 sets for an LCD display. The Mode and Wimpmode are optional, but if set to Auto will probably give odd results.
