Change documentation

Introduction

A large number of changes have been made to RISC OS since the Select scheme began. With each release we have endeavoured to provide details to our subscribers and the general public of the components which have changed and the nature of those changes. The documentation here describes the changes which have occurred to RISC OS both since the beginning of the Select scheme and since the last release (Select 3i4 / Adjust 1i2).

Change details

  • The headlines
    The 'headlines' document describes the major changes which have occurred since the last release of RISC OS for each component. Unlike the component-specific documentation, this document deals in only the significant changes which have occurred for each component.
  • Archive of all the changes in text format
    The entire collection of summaries of the changes can be downloaded in a single archive. This may be useful for those who wish to browse the contents at their leisure.
  • Below, you will see links to individual logs for the components, which have been generated from the raw text summaries. These have been split into two major sections - the complete details, and the details of only the changes since RISC OS Select 3i4.
